American Top Team products Bobby Lashley (1-0) and Hector Lombard (17-2-1), along with Cuban Olympic freestyle wrestling bronze-medalist Alexis Vila (4-0) are the latest signings for the California-based Palace Fighting Championships.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) learned of the signings from the trio's manager, Malki Kawa of First Round Management.

Each of three has signed a one-fight deal and will look to compete on an as-yet-unannounced February card for the PFC. Opponents for the fighters have yet to be determined.

Lashley, a former collegiate wrestling champion and WWE superstar, made a successful MMA debut in December. The massive 32-year-old needed just 41 seconds to dispose of opponent Joshua Franklin.

Following that December bout, sources close to the fighter informed MMAjunkie.com a bout with fellow WWE-import and UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar was Lashley's immediate goal.

Lombard will make his long-awaited U.S. debut on the card. The former Cuban Olympic judoka was set to debut on Nov. 8 for EliteXC before the company's demise forced the cancellation of the event.

Lombard is currently riding an 11-fight unbeaten streak. The four-year-veteran's only two career losses have come to Gegard Mousasi and Akihiro Gono.

As previously reported by MMAjunkie.com, Lombard will compete in the debuting Bellator Fighting Championships following his PFC bout.

Vila has reeled off four-straight wins since his December 2007 debut. The 125-pound fighter was last in action in a 35-second submission victory over Ian Wolf at December's "Mixed Fighting Alliance: There Will be Blood."

Kawa told MMAjunkie.com he is excited to have three of his fighters competing for the PFC.

"(PFC promoter) Christian Printup and (matchmaker) Richard Goodman have done an amazing job of developing a top-level organization," Kawa said. "The PFC has put together a solid card on Jan. 22 featuring five title fights and several UFC, WEC and PRIDE veterans. At First Round Management, we're proud to now bring three of our world-class athletes to the PFC's February event.

"We're expecting big things from Bobby Lashley, Hector Lombard and Alexis Vila. All three have the potential to be future champions. You won't want to miss them in their PFC debuts."

Vila fue medallista olimpico en Atlanta. Tiene ya una edad el hombre.

Bobby Lashley vs. Mike Hayes featured on hybrid PFC card

WWE-import Bobby Lashley (1-0) will take the next step forward in his MMA career on Feb. 6 for the Palace Fighting Championship in a hybrid MMA and boxing card at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, Calif.

The massive Lashley will take on the equally large Mike Hayes (4-1).

Palace Fighting Championship officials today released details for both the MMA and boxing portions of the card on the Underground, a popular mixed martial arts forum.

As MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) reported earlier this month, Lashley signed with the PFC after his successful professional debut for the Florida-based Mixed Fighting Alliance. The American Top Team product needed just 41 seconds to dispatch of fellow rookie Joshua Franklin.

Hayes also debuted in 2008, fighting five times before year's end. The 28-year-old's first appearance was in February at Strikeforce's event in Tacoma, Wash., "Strikeforce at the Dome." Hayes has since fought four more times, including three appearances for the Washington-based CageSport, co-owned by MMA veteran Dennis Hallman.

The bout will be one of seven MMA contests featured on a card that will also feature the long-awaited U.S. debut of Cuban judoka Hector Lombard.

The boxing portion of the card will be broadcast on the popular Showtime boxing series "ShoBox." MMA veterans competing in professional boxing bouts include WBC CABOFE heavyweight champion Manuel Quezada (25-4, 1-0 MMA), Dewey Cooper (17-2-3, 1-0 MMA) and Poppies Martinez (1-0, 12-5 MMA)

          The full card now includes:

Ron Sparks replaces Bobby Lashley at "PFC: Best of Both Worlds"

With heavyweight prospect Bobby Lashley out of "PFC: Best of Both Worlds" due to ankle ligament damage suffered in training, fellow American Fight League fighter Ron Sparks (3-0) has stepped up on short notice to fill the role.

Sparks will take on fellow undefeated heavyweight Mike Hayes (3-0) on the Feb. 6 event at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, Calif. Representatives from the organization alerted MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) of the change Thursday night.

"PFC: Best of Both Worlds" is a hybrid event that will feature both MMA and boxing bouts, with the boxing portion of the card slated for a Showtime broadcast.

Sparks signed with the American Fight League in 2008, and he was rumored to be working on a possible matchup with super-heavyweight Bob Sapp. When that bout fell through the Kentucky native issued a challenge to Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson. That fight was also never arranged, and Sparks has yet to receive a bout through his contract with the Kentucky-based American Fight League.

Sparks last fought in September 2006 for the Kentucky-based Caged Inferno organization. "The Monster" won his first three professional contests in a combined time of 77 seconds, but has yet to see action since that stretch.

Provided Lashley doesn't encounter any complications in his recovery process, the former WWE superstar is now expected to make his Palace Fighting Championship debut on May 8 at PFC 13.

The full card of MMA and boxing bouts for "PFC: Best of Both Worlds" now includes:
