Yoshihiro Akiyama ha hecho un post en su blog acerca de su no participación en el Dream de NYE. Primero escribió en noviembre de este año, que su contrato con FEG se habia terminado. Ellos hablaron acerca de la participación en el Dream Dynamite!, pero no se llego a un acuerdo. "Queria participar, pero es una lastima."
Luego, dice que para el próximo año se esta negociado con diversas organizaciones. Él aun no sabe donde va a acabar, pero desde este momento va a intentar hacer lo mejor desde el principio y desde cero.
