According to MMAJunkie, Randy Couture may be fighting for the UFC once again by year's end. Couture may be returning to the octagon as part of an out-of-court settlement that will leave him "free and clear" of the UFC after the bout.
Couture and the UFC have had an ongoing legal battle over the last year regarding Couture's contract. Couture stated at a press conference last year that the "lack of respect" shown to him after being one of the company's biggest draws led him to "retire" from the UFC.
Couture hasn't fought professionally since last August when he scored a TKO victory over then number one contender Gabriel Gonzaga.
Couture nor the UFC have been reached for a statment regarding his return.
