VERGUENZA FILHO, llega al pesaje con 7 lbs de sobrepeso

The weigh-ins for WEC 36 today were anything but smooth as three fighters, including Featherweight challenger Mike Brown and Middleweight champ Paulo Filho, missed their agreed upon weights. Mike Brown, who will challenge champ Urijah Faber in the events main event, came in a half pound over weight but had no trouble losing it in the allotted two hours. Paulo Filho, who will face Chael Sonnen in a highly anticipated rematch, came in an astounding seven pounds overweight. While he has two hours to drop the extra pounds, it seems unlikely that he'll be able to do so and the fight will either be rescheduled or will no longer have the Middleweight title on the line.

Madre mia, deberia dejarse de tonterias y pasar a pesados, si no eres capaz de bajar, pues te adaptas a tu categoria y listo. Asi ni entrena bien, ni mentalmente estara a gusto, ni llega bien al combate. Joder es que son mas de 3kg, menuda descosida macho...

Voy con Urijah y Leo Garcia, y en el tremendo undercard, con Cerrone, Aldo, y me muero por ver el Maeda vs. Yahya ;D

No fuera no, hay pelea igual, pero sin cinto en juego. Por lo menos hay aire de revanchilla desde ell anterior combate con Sonnen. Pero entre esto y que retiranla categoria de medios de WEC, pierde bastante.

el tio sube a la bascula con 87,3 kilos y el capullo se quita los calconcillos a ver si da el peso!!! y da 87,1 kg

que pensaba, que los gayumbos pesan 3.4 kilos? ya tienen que estar cagaos para pesar eso...

yaya peso una libra mas y brown media mas, pero estos sin problemas pueden luchar

En el video del pesaje parece que esta fuera de forma, a ver si gana y asi se vuelve a enchufar a esto.

Que yo sepa unicamente les quitan parte de la bolsa. Si Gina diera el peso ya seria milloneti XD

Rani Yahya vs. Yoshiro Maeda
Round 1
The two men touch gloves and Maeda is the first to land a punch. Yahya shoots and the two clinch. Against the fence, Maeda jumps in to a guillotine. Yahya goes to his knees and the choke looks incredibly tight. The few fans that are in the Hard Rock are screaming because it looks so tight. Still cranking on it for over 30 seconds, Yahya finally escapes. At the mid-way point of the first frame, Yahya stacks and Maeda pushes him away with his feet and the two men clinch against the cage. Yahya jumps for a guillotine of his on and works for it on the floor. It's deep and the Japanese fighter taps at 3:30 of round one.

"The fight was not easy. Had to train a lot and diet," said Yayha. "Maeda is a dangerous fighter. Every second of the fight I had to keep my perception."

"He was definitely ready to fight against my game. It was great."

Danny Castillo vs. Rafael Dias
Round 1
Castillo starts winging punches that miss. Dias is more technical and hits his opponent with straight punches that puts Castillo on his heels, and then causes him to look for a takedown. After some good takedown defense the fighters separate. Dias then attempts a takedown and Castillo sprawls. They stand and Castillo lands a nice uppercut that puts Dias on his back. After a moment of Castillo standing over his opponent, referee Jorge Alonso stands them up. On the feet, the fighters keep up a good pace throwing punches. In the clinch, Dias looks for a guillotine, but Castillo wisely moves away. With a minute left the fighters exchange leather again. An overhand haymaker that turns in to a shot for Dias misses. 10-9 Dias.

Round 2
Castillo paws the jab to start the second frame. Dias shoots and gets the takedown. Castillo looks to work the guillotine, but nothing is there. From full guard, Dias stacks and lands some punches. Castillo frames an armbar, but it
