    Neil Wain signs with the UFC

    Another European athlete was hooked by the American giant. This time was Briish Neil Wain (4-0-0) that signed a four fight deal after only... four bouts. Seems like the devastation power showed on his last victory, this Saturday at Ultimate Force, was more than enough.

      Eso es que UFC esta apostando fuerte por el mercado europeo, bien por ellos. A ver cuanto

                  dale tiempo, dana sabe que para hacer aficion la clave es usar luchadores "nacionales", como hizo con bisping.

                      Merrill, los eventos se hacen no sólo por la gente q vaya a ir a verlo en directo, sino por los PPV q se pueden sacar. Cuantos PPV se pueden sacar en España?

                        En España no hay demasiada costumbre de PPV, se venderian porque mucha gente quedaria en grupo para verlo, dudo que haya muchos individuales que se gasten 40 dolares en ver un ppv de 5 combates. ¿Pero aun asi, cuantos se venderian en España? Si pasan de 5000 ya pueden considerarlo un triunfo, el ultimo en USA (UFC 79) creo que vendio cerca de 650.000 PPV.

                          ufc se realiza en sitios "pequeños" para que haya un ambiente mas opresivo y se centra en el ppv. eso desde siempre.
                          no me refiero a cifras ppv (sus preocupaciones seran mas anivel mundial en este aspecto)

                          me refiero a crear aficion.

                          en uk muy pocos cuestionan ya si las mma son deporte o sangria, y eso ha sido por la promocion de los eventos de ufc (cage rage es mas "minoritario"/"barriobajero")

                          en españa ......merche mila

                            En UK siguen apareciendo articulos en prensa criticando las MMA cada dos por tres.

                            Quitando USA, Holanda y Japon, creo que en los demas paises aun queda un largo camino por recorrer para que esto sea considerado un deporte y que quien no le guste simplemente no lo vea, pero que no critiquen y hablen sin conocer.

                              lo cual no implica en que se realice un gran evento en España y se meta el PPV de EEUU no??

                              os imaginais un lidel vs fedor nada más que con coger el Ave?? (menos los de Barcelona claro)
