Croatian undefeated rising star Goran Reljic (7-0-0) has signed a deal with the UFC. His debut must take place in March at UFC 83, on English soil. The Gracie Barra UK athlete comes from seven straight wins in Croatian events such as BE, Ultimate Fight Challenge or Noc Skorpiona and in Dutch organization Combined Forces. Though he didn't fight in a big event or faced an internationally known opponent yet seems like the UFC is coming after fresh European potential rising stars once the American powerhouse has also hooked Per Eklund/ Sweden (12-2-1), Tomasz Drwal/ Poland (14-2-0) and Jordan Radev/ Bulgary (11-3-0) recently. This declared move to conquer the European market will certainly open some doors for the European athletes and, inevitably, unleash a few serious competitors for the belts (and failures).
