Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will return to the PRIDE ring after an absence of roughly 7 months. Although at one point, there were talks of Rogerio challenging Wanderlei Silva for the title, he seems to have temporarily yielded his seat to America's hero, Dan Henderson. But don't expect him to fade from title contention anytime soon. Besides the ground techniques he has brushed up at Brazilian Top Team, his top-notch boxing skills have led him to win the Brazilian Championship and compete for a spot at the Olympics. He is undoubtedly a top-class fighter. Another PRIDE victory would assure Rogerio an imminent title match.

Rogerio will be facing SOKOUDJOU, nicknamed the AFRICAN ASSASSIN, who is currently based in the U.S. and training under Dan. If he is able to make as great of an impact on the ring as he can do with his dreadlock hair and built physique, he may become a regular on PRIDE. For Rogerio and SOKOUDJOU, the next match will most certainly serve as a forecast to their future at PRIDE.

Aunque se comentó que Rogerio se enfrentaria a Wanderlei Silva por el titulo, parece que ha sido temporalmente apartado por el héroe americano, Dan Henderson. Pero no hay que contar con que se desvanecerá su oportunidad. Además de su técnica de suelo que ha repasado en el BTT, sus habilidades pugilisticas de primera clase le han permitido ganar el campeonato brasileño y competir por una medalla en los olimpicos. Es indudablemente un top. Otra victoria deberia asegurar un inminente combate por el titulo para Rogerio.

Rogerio se enfrentará a Sokoudjou, llamado el asesino africano, que vive actualmente en estados unidos y entrena con Dan. Si es capaz de impactar en el ring como puede hacerlo con sus rastas y su fisico, se puede convertir en un regular del Pride. Para Rogerio y Sokoudjou, el próximo combate servirá seguramente para pronosticar su futuro en Pride


Lo dicho, le han jodido la oportunidad a Rogerio pq pelean en america y hay que promocionarse, metiendo a Hendo. Si gana (ganará) seguramente pelee con Wandy por el titulo.

Sokoudjou si hace un papel decente será un luchador habitual... habrá que verlo en acción, Jah!
