Sawyer: How is the training going?
BARONI: I'm starting back in the gym on Monday. I plan on training with Randy Couture for the next five weeks while I'm in Vegas. I will then go back to San Jose and continue training with AKA.
Sawyer: What is your weight at right now?
BARONI: 215... I'm rock-hard and ready to go...
Sawyer: What is the deal with Pride? Are you fighting on the Feb 24 show here in town?
BARONI: No, I will not be fighting on that show...
Sawyer: ... really?
BARONI: They have been advertising me, but I'm not fighting on that show.
Sawyer: I see your old nemesis Matt Lindland is fighting Fedor.
BARONI: He deserves it, good for him. He will make some money, but my advise for him is to try not to get killed.
Sawyer: I'm almost scared to ask about Frank Shamrock. Is this your next fight and is this who you are preparing for?
BARONI: Yes. The fight is suppose to be happening April 21. I may stop smoking two weeks before the fight and show him how good my cardio is.
Sawyer: Have you talked to your boy Kevin Randleman? He was, as of last night, at St. Rose Hospital. Is he doing any better?
BARONI: I need to go see him. I'm going to go visit him tomorrow.
Sawyer: I will let you go...Bryan wanted you on the show and you never got back to me...
BARONI: Tell him anytime next week is good for me...
