Me ha encantado el evento FIVE!! La prueba de que no hace falta mucha parafernalia para montar un evento bonito y elegante. El streaming por YouTube perfecto, solo han habido unos ruidillos de nada en un momento puntual y enseguida el realizador ha tenido el detalle de pedir disculpas. Creo que ha sido éxito y deseando estoy que hagan otro. El torneo de pros NO-GI lo ha ganado Keenan Cornelius, 2º Jackson Souza y 3º Garry Tonon (éste el que mas me ha gustado). En general todos los torneos y superfights han estado muy bonitos.

Es con gran tristeza que pasamos esta noticia. Nos enteramos de que el Gran Maestro Renato Paquet falleció esta mañana en su casa en Río de Janeiro. Aparte de su ser un cinturón rojo en BJJ, Renato Paquet también fue el campeón " Carioca Boxing" en 1955-56 y tenía experiencia en Vale Tudo. Residía en la academia Chekmat en Copacabana.

Él fue amado por muchos como un ejemplo de alguien que vivió verdaderamente las artes marciales y era uno de los fijos en el gimnasio y en la tatami hasta hace muy poco. Le echaremos mucho de menos. Se nos va otro cinta roja más. Muere a la edad de 79. Descansa em paz y role allá con los otros grandes Mestres. Osss

Helio grabbed me in both lapels, and attacked me with O-soto-gari and Kouchi-gari. But they did not move me at all. Now it's my turn.
