Y Sergio le peleó durante todo el combate con las manos abajo, supongo que lo viste pankra, te lo iba a comentar, incluso cuando lo arrinconaba. Me encanta ver pelear a Sergio, la verdad, ese estilo es de los que te hacen disfrutar de un combate, lo hace todo tan efectivo como bonito, como Noons en MMA (para mí).

Lo de sexy sergio se lo puede agradece a esa nariz que debe tener un tabique de titanio reforzado mínimo, jaja la tiene perfecta para ser boxer.

Tiene una pelea programada para el 1 de octubre (contra ese tal TBA del que nunca hay imágenes :D), pero visto lo visto, parece poco probable que al salir de ese ring sea Martínez el que lleve la nariz como un pimiento...

`el francés’ dulorme está listo para demarcus corley


Nueva York, ESTADOS UNIDOS - Hoy,a un día de su pelea, el súper prospecto de las 147 libras, THOMAS DULORME (11-0, 10KO’s) confirmó que quiere demostrar al mundo que tiene lahabilidad necesaria para ganar una pelea ante el ex campeón mundial DeMarcusCorley.



Dulorme tendrá el reto más grande en su joven carreraal medirse a Demarcus Corley, el cual es un veterano del boxeo que ha tenido reñidas peleas con Floyd Mayweather, Zab Judah y el boricua Miguel Cotto.

Dulorme tendrá el turno semiestelar en la cartelera demañana en el Roseland Ballroom en Nueva York. Esta pelea será transmitida envivo por la telecadena ESPN en su serie boxística Friday Night Fights.

“Me siento mejor que nunca, he entrenado fuerte yestoy listo para esta pelea. Este, sin duda alguna, es el rival mas fuerte demi carrera y por tal razón me he preparado de esta manera. Esta es mioportunidad de demostrar al mundo mi talento”, aclaró Dulorme, peleadorpromocionado por Universal Promotions, Gary Shaw Productions Y DibellaEntertainment.

“Dulorme ha entrenado como nunca. Sabemos que Corleyes un peleador peligroso y con gran experiencia, pero Thomas tiene lasherramientas para poder ganar la pelea”, aclaró José Bonilla, entrenador deDulorme.

Judah is an underdog vs. Khan, but a live one



Thereo8217;s no doubt that Amir Khan is favored to beat Zab Judah when the junior welterweight titleholders clash on July 23 in Las Vegas.
Khan is younger, bigger, faster and arguably stronger, plus the 24-year-old British star has the most-respected trainer of this era, Freddie Roach, in his corner.
Odds makers opened the fight listing Khan at -575 and Judah at +450, essentially making the 33-year-old veteran a 5-to-1 underdog.
The lopsided odds are perhaps justified when taking into account how often Judah has come up short in big fights (against Kostya Tszyu, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and Miguel Cotto) or lost to fighters he probably should have defeated (such as Carlos Baldomir and Joshua Clottey).
However, Judah, who is still a world-class puncher, can be considered a o8220;live dogo8221; against Khan, whose chin remains something of a question mark despite winning a close unanimous decision over powerful slugger Marcos Maidana in December.
Khan (25-1, 17 knockouts), who was knocked out in one round by Breidis Prescott in his only loss more than 2½ years ago, barely survived his rocky moments against Maidana, who had the 2004 Olympic silver medalist out on his feet in the dramatic 10th round of their fight of the year candidate.
Khan proved his mettle by surviving those tough final rounds but his chin barely passed the o8220;punchero8217;s test.o8221; Judah, who has won five in a row, three by stoppage, is confident that Khano8217;s chin will not hold up against his fast and powerful shots.
o8220;Khano8217;s been tested once, against Maidana,o8221; Judah told members of the media following the kick-off press conference in Los Angeles on Wednesday. o8220;Maidana is a hard hitter but heo8217;s also one of the slowest punchers in boxing.
o8220;Maidana doesno8217;t have my speed or my skill and he was still running Khan out of the ring in the last four rounds of their fight. Khan cano8217;t run from me like he did from Maidana. Sooner or later, Io8217;m going to catch him.o8221;
However, Judah says he has more than a o8220;punchero8217;s chanceo8221; of beating Khan in their HBO-televised showdown at the Mandalay Bay.
The former undisputed welterweight champ provided three reasons heo8217;s a longshot worth betting on:
1. His return to the junior welterweight division, where heo8217;s held three titles and only lost once (his second-round KO to Tszyu back in 2001),
2. His partnership with Main Evento8217;s CEO Kathy Duva, who encouraged the drop back to the 140-pound division and promoted his last three bouts (an ESPN2-televised third-round TKO of Jose Armando Santa Cruz last July, an HBO-televised split decision over undefeated Lucas Mathysse last November and a seventh-round stoppage of Kaizer Mabuza, which earned him the vacant IBF title in March), and
3. His new trainer, Pernell Whitaker, who began working with him before the Mabuza fight.
o8220;Io8217;m a totally different man from when I lost to Mayweather and Cotto,o8221; Judah said. o8220;Back then I was having issues with my former promoter (Don King), which took me off my game and kept me inactive. And I hurt myself when I was suspended after the Mayweather fight (for a deliberate foul and nearly causing a riot in the arena). All I did was hang out and spend my money while I was out of the ring between the Mayweather and Cotto fights.
o8220;Io8217;ve grown up a lot since then. Io8217;m right with God, so my mind is more focused now. Io8217;m back with my original promoter (Duva) and sheo8217;s keeping me active with the right fights to get back to where I belong. I feel like I shook the rust off with my last three fights and Io8217;m very comfortable now that Io8217;m back at 140 pounds, my natural weight. I could punch at welterweight but I think I might hit a little harder at 140.o8221;
However, Judah says the fight will be won with his experience, not brute power. Whitaker, a former four-division titleholder who was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2006, is helping Judah get the most out of his 15 years of pro experience, which includes 49 bouts.
o8220;We interact very well together,o8221; Judah said of his relationship with Whitaker, a 1984 Olympic gold medalist who was known for his slick defense and ring savvy. o8220;Pernell is not one of those trainers who tries to direct his fighters from a chair in the gym. Heo8217;s up in the ring with me showing me little moves and helping me with my technique.
o8220;We run together, we play basketball, we talk, and heo8217;s motivating me to equal what he did, which is win six world titles. Io8217;ve got five now. When I beat Khan, Io8217;ll have six. And everybody who wrote me off will have to write me back in.o8221;

Klitschko dares Haye to wear tasteless T-shirt again

RING heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko told the London media earlier this week that he was offended by David Haye's T-shirt, bearing the likeness of the severed heads both Klitschko brothers, and dared his rival to don the shirt again at a future press conference.
Klitschko is scheduled to fight the WBA beltholder on July 2 in Hamburg, Germany.
"The T-shirt business showing him with our heads off was totally stupid and ridiculous," Klitschko told David Anderson of The Mirror, a London-based newspaper. "He pissed me off as I don't want to see my relatives with their heads off.
"I strongly believe he feels really bad about it now, even if he says he has no regrets," the Ukrainian continued. "If he had no regrets he would wear that T-shirt one more time. But he doesn't want to wear the T-shirt, as he knows it was stupid. I know David Hay will hear what I have said, so I say to him, 'If you don't feel bad about it, put that T-shirt on at our next press conference.'"
