Genki Sudo gets his BJJ black belt and hints at a return to MMA
One day scientists will make a car that is fueled entirely by Genki Sudoo39;s coolness. That car will be distributed in all major markets as a viable alternative energy vehicle and it will be able to solve the worldo39;s energy crisis. The earth will once again be on the right path until Genki Sudo dies. Then the entire planet will be screwed (yet again). Weo39;ve already established that Genki Sudo has the most amazing entrance in the history of MMA. Ito39;s not even something you can sit around your coffee table and debate. Despite being only 28 when he retired, Genki Sudo has one of the slickest resumes in MMA with wins over former WEC champion Mike Brown, Nathan Marquardt, Ramon Decker...dude even beat ButterBean.
Now it looks like Genki may come back to MMA after receiving his black belt. Since most of you guys cano39;t understand Japanese, Io39;ll translate all of this for you free of charge. Ito39;s my belated birthday gift to you. Earlier this month on his personal blog (or o39;diaryo39; as he likes to call it), Genki said that after three years of retirement, he finally received his Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt at the Triforce academy under Watanabe Yoshinao. Genki Sudo and his instructor noted that ito39;s somewhat of a paradox to achieve the height of your profession when youo39;ve retired from it. Watanabe asked if this meant he would return to the sport of mixed martial arts and Genki Sudo said heo39;s thought about it, but abruptly (and sarcastically) says ito39;s a joke. He then ends his diary entry with o39;winkingo39; emoticon.
Leto39;s all collectively cross our fingers. MMA needs Genki Sudo.
