PRIDE veteran Daniel Acacio will face top Polish prospect Mamed Khalidov at KSW 11 on May 15 at the Torwar Hall in Warsaw, Poland.
The 31-year-old Acacio (17-7) fights out of Chute Boxe and has been fighting locally in Brazil since a loss to Ryo Kawamura at Pancrase on September 2006. Acacio has competed three for PRIDE Bushido, winning against Kazuo Misaki and Daiju Takase and losing to Akihiro Gono. Misaki was the 2006 PRIDE GP winner and Takase holds a submission victory over current UFC middleweight champ Anderson Silva.
Khalidov (15-3) won his US debut against Jason Guida at ShoXC on Oct. 10, 2008. Khalidov has not suffered a loss since Sept. 22, 2005.
